AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands — 10 February 2025 — Health4Travel has secured €1.4 million in funding to expand its digital healthcare access solution for travellers and other globally mobile people. The funding will be used to strengthen the platform’s technology, grow its international network of medical providers and further develop services that help people find and coordinate outpatient care abroad.
Making care abroad easier to access
Travellers who need medical care away from home often face unfamiliar healthcare systems, language barriers and limited information about where to go. Finding a suitable provider, understanding the available services and coordinating an appointment can be fragmented and time-consuming.
Health4Travel is building a single digital access point designed to help travellers identify appropriate medical providers and manage key steps in the care journey. The platform also supports organisations that coordinate international care for their members and customers.

Investing in technology and network growth
Health4Travel will focus the new funding on three priorities: improving the platform’s digital infrastructure, onboarding additional medical providers in key international destinations and continuing to develop the service experience for travellers and partner organisations.
Health4Travel is being developed by a Finnish–Dutch team with experience across travel, technology and healthcare. The company’s goal is to connect travellers, healthcare providers and organisations supporting people abroad through a more structured digital process.
